As I mentioned via email, I'm using the GG&G rail attachment. (https://www.gggaz.com/hk-usp-picatinny-rail-flashlight-and-laser-mounts.html). I do not currently have an xr-1 light yet but it should attach in the same way my xr-2 does using the "P key"
