Two recent additions to my daily carry…what I believe to be the finest fixed blade kydex sheath from my good friend and brother from another mother Tim @tobacco_road_adventures and what I believe the most comfortable and functional OWB holster from @bptactical. There is a huge difference in quality kydex work vs stuff that just “works”. These two companies are at the level where you say “how could the fit, finish and ergonomics be any better?”

Also in my EDC bag (whether it’s one of our BCO EDC Waist Bags or our smaller No.2 Belt Pouch) I carry the Nano from @darkenergytech. Compact unit recharges my iPhone with enough juice to get me by until I’m at a spot where I can plug in for the night. Also check out the larger Poseidon Pro from Dark Energy. I’ve had one since they came out and it’s still going strong!

"True friends don`t coddle your weaknesses, they encourage your strengths." I remember that quote with an anonymous author all the way back to junior high. It`s true to this day. I`ve been blessed with some amazing friends with some amazing skill sets. I`ve been on the receiving end of people giving me busy work and I`ve also been fortunate to have some great leaders show me the way. Your friends deserve to be power assisted; not dismissed.
Earlier this year, a true friend asked for some assistance in a project. We spoke at length about the viability of it and like those who did it for me, I passed him onto the best I could think of. It is a dog-eat-dog world of products but when you see something great, you know. Today, I am in possession of the product from that discussion and I couldn`t be prouder of a friend who was there for me years ago when I was just about to leave for UT from CT to see me off, someone I trained in CT, and someone who inspires me to this day. David is a no-nonsense combatives instructor. Sayoc is our shared common lineage and we have mutual instructors in common. If there is someone who "gets it", it is David. The man built a product out of the training space where he saw a need. This is that product.
The Lo-V Mag pouches fit a niche. I`ve been wearing the pistol mag pouch other strong side and it is very minimalist but secure. The rifle mag pouch clips into pockets for range days as well as into tunnel pockets of packs for easy access. Even if you don`t use it for a rifle mag, the pouch holds a smart phone nicely.
I am very proud of my friend, my tribal brother, and someone I`ll always elevate. It`s an honor to be listed among giants on attribution on the packaging. You`ve earned it my friend. Keep crushing it!

Open carried for the first time on a hike recently using my @bptactical Outback Chest System.
