The Mini WING™ - Light Mounted holster was developed in collaboration with members of the Law Enforcement community representing local, state, and federal agencies. Officers working plain clothes assignments often found the only option they had for carrying their duty weapon was IWB. This presented a challenge as there were not any good options for securing their gun and light combo comfortably this way. They were forced to either remove the light from their duty weapon or carry in a less secure manner. Both of these options put the officer at a disadvantage should they need their weapon. The Mini WING™- Light Mounted holster provides the answer to this problem as they can keep their duty weapon and light intact while still carrying comfortably and concealed in a IWB manner.
The Mini WING™ series of holsters builds on the same ideas which make its OWB counterpart, the Leather WING™, so popular. It retains the popular KYDEX and leather combination, but the Mini WING™ is a dedicated IWB holster. The holster is designed to be a minimalistic holster using as little material as possible to safely secure the pistol. The Mini WING™- Light Mounted leverages these characteristics to accomplish something many customers never thought possible: comfortable, IWB carry of a pistol with a light or laser attached.
The pairing of KYDEX® and leather on this holster allows for the KYDEX® to reliably retain your pistol without a break in or wear out period. In addition, the KYDEX® shell prevents the holster from collapsing when your pistol is drawn, and remains open for easy one handed holstering. The leather “mini wings” are incorporated to allow the holster to wrap around the contours of your waist, allowing for a versatile fit for all body types. The “mini wings” give the holster flexibility to move with your body, making it comfortable for use all day, every day. The “mini wings” were constructed to provide the user with a variety of different configurations for IWB carry. The user has a greater range of options for the ride height and as well as a variety of positions around the waist, from appendix, all the way to the small of the back.

I carry a Glock 35 with a Streamlight TLR-1HL and this holster is great. I can carry a large frame gun all day with ease and comfort. You can’t go wrong here.

I wear this “mini-wing light mounted” holster every day, Glock 17 with TLR2. I’ve gone through many holsters and this one is by far the best. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this holster. I sent in my weapon light as it wasn’t on their list and Black Point Tactical was able to make a custom holster for my handgun (Glock 30s w/Crimson Trace Rail Master Pro). I conceal carry off duty and this holster feels great, looks great (Police Blue of course) and performs great. Highly recommended product.

Awesome holster. I like that there is finally a manufacturer who can make reasonably priced holsters for larger framed pistols with tactical pistol lights (XD-40 w/TLR1). This will be the last holster I ever buy. I would just say that I would like to see Black Point Tactical offer belt clips that snap.

I got the mini-wing light mounted holster for my Glock 23 w/Surefire X300U. It fits perfectly and is unbelievably comfortable to wear IWB. Makes me forget about all the other kydex holsters I own. I’ll be back for more. Also, the customer service (V. Motley) is top notch and that alone is reason to come back. Thank you again.

Another great holster from Blackpoint. I own two mini-wing light mounted holsters now. One for my Glock 23 w/Surefire X300-U and another for my FNS 40 (same light). Both holsters work great and I’ve recommended them to anyone looking for a comfortable IWB holster. Customer service is great as well.

Most expensive holster Iv purchased and longest lead time..totally worth it! I carry full size HK vp9 Tactical with a SureFire X300 U-b everyday and don’t even notice it! Dispersed the weight evenly, leather wings allow the holster to mold to the hip! Lost of adjustment for ride height, and solid lock up. Will buy from again, will recommend to friends and family 100%

So far this holster is an upgrade on my old one. keeps my fire arm nice and tight against my body so that printing is not an issue. It feels great too, smaller than the first.

I just received my Mini Wing holster for my Legion P226 RX with the TLR 8 light and I am impressed! I know most people are thinking that this is a big gun to carry around but I am not happy with my G43 for multiple reasons and the most important is that my hands are too big for that small gun so accuracy suffers a lot. This combined with the fact that it has the capacity of 6+1 makes it an unreliable solution for me to carry. So thinking that I need to carry a pistol that is DA/SA for safety and I can shoot it accurately, I decided to carry my SIG P226 which is a big gun but what is the point of carry if you cannot shoot accurately with what you carry.
This meant that I needed a comfortable holster to carry this pistol and after hours of searching on the Internet and local stores, I ended up at Black Point who makes holsters sold by SIG Sauer but SIG’s sight did not have an option for the TLR 8 light. I am 6′ 3″ tall and 210 lbs so I was confident that the right holster could make this work for me and this one definitely turned out to be the right holster.
I was on my way out when the box arrived so I put the holster on immediately and wore it for about 4 hours. This IWB holster is very easy to put on your pants and hook it on your belt. My belt is a Levis that has a true 1.5″ width and the metal clips grabbed it securely and did not allow the holster to slide out of position getting in and out my car at all. I wear my carry pistols at 5 o’clock position because that is the most comfortable position to accommodate sitting in the car without the pistol digging in my skin but the SIG is a thick gun and I changed the position to about 4 o’clock and with this holster, it still has minimal printing while I can sit in the car’s bucket sits without a problem.
Retention is not adjustable but the folks at Black Point made it tight enough not to have the pistol fall off when turned upside down, yet easy to holster and unholster the pistol even when the belt is tight around my waste. I also purchased the plastic belt hooks for it but they are thicker than the metal hooks and after using it with the metal, I doubt I will ever use the plastic ones.
Overall, I have to say that for a custom made holster that fits my pistol and the light I use perfectly, the price is right and although it took 7 weeks to be ready, it is well worth the wait for this holster. I have multiple holsters for every pistol I own because I keep buying holsters to find the best one. I am certain that this is going to be the only IWB holster I will ever own for my SIG P226 RX because I really believe this is as good as it can get. I also ordered an OWB holster for the same pistol because I train and use it for plate shoot competitions but have not used that one yet. Judging from the quality of the Mini Wing holster, I am confident that I will be happy with that one too.
If you want a quality holster, don’t waste your time and money looking elsewhere. Highly recommended!!!

Very pleased with the Mini Wing w/ Light Holster. The firearm fits snugly, the holster seems well made & is more comfortable than my previous Leather/Hybrid holster from another manufacturer. It was difficult finding a holster for a Springfield XD with an olight mini light. BPT seems to have options for more gun/light combinations than anyone else I could find. The quality is evident down to the tiny details such as them adding printing to the back of the holster labeling the gun/light combo the holster is created for. With the extended lead times for COVID and supply chain issues this holster was well worth the wait.
